Job Description
Our Real Property & Workplace Services department is looking for a collaborative and responsive individual to join their team as a Workplace Services Representative. You'll be part of a dynamic team who is responsible for real estate and space accommodation, infrastructure planning, and operations management to all our offices throughout the province.

Where you'll work
In this role, you'll work in our Richmond office five days a week.
As a Workplace Services Representative you will:
- Handle divisional financial aspects, including compliance, invoice coding, approvals, cost tracking, reporting, and budget administration
- Participate in budget creation, analysis, forecasting, tracking, and report production
- Handle procurement and purchasing processes, including intake forms, preparing requisitions, and tracking purchase orders and invoices
- Monitor and maintain contracts, ensuring compliance
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including managers, employees, contractors, and suppliers to support project management and other duties
- Provide back-up relief support for the RPWS Workplace Services Desk, responding to phone and in-person inquiries.
- Consistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.
- Work independently, coordinate and prioritize a wide variety of tasks to ensure accuracy and meet strict deadlines
- Establish positive and cooperative working relationships with management, co-workers, and internal and external stakeholders in sometimes difficult or sensitive circumstances
- Communicate with stakeholders in a positive, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner
- Recognize and evaluate problems, assess available information, and use sound judgment in taking appropriate actions
- A minimum of grade 12
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
