Temporary Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for processing refund payments, expenses for recovery, buyouts and lease payment modifications.

They will also provide support to the accounting team for month end close.  

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience in accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree or Canadian certificate/diploma in accounting or finance
  • Experience with Sage and Casitron considered an asset
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

This is a remote position, but there might be a need to go into the Burnaby office once a week.

 

The assignment is temporary, but could run up to a few months.

 

Pay rate is $35 per hour + 4% vacation with relevant experience.
