The Senior Geomatics Technician provides direct technical specialists in the delivery of highway engineering services and perform technical and administrative tasks that meet project requirements and Ministry specifications.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree or diploma in Survey and Geomatics and a minimum of 5 years experience in highway transportation surveying and drawing preparation.
- Experience in the use of Civil 3D with respect to applications for highway design ground modelling, drafting, and drawing compilation.

- Valid B.C. driver's licence.
- Conduct field work which may include travel by vehicle and/or outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Overnight travel throughout the province for 1-4 days at a time, several times a year
