As an Industrial OT Cybersecurity Consultant, you'll join our Cybersecurity team and play a key role in delivering secure, resilient digital infrastructures for critical national assets. Reporting to the ICS/OT Cybersecurity Practice Director, this delivery-focused role supports WSP's "Future Ready" vision to lead in digital engineering services.
Your Impact
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of cybersecurity activities for major infrastructure projects and client mandates, including risk assessment, design, implementation, and commissioning.
  • Execute WSP's Cybersecurity project plans to ensure resilience through governance, technology, policies, and human factors.
  • Perform threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments to identify critical assets and define mitigation strategies.
  • Cascade cybersecurity requirements to suppliers and manage procurement activities to reduce supply chain risk.
  • Lead analysis and verification of security controls to meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with engineering and construction teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are implemented.
  • Review technical submissions from suppliers and provide detailed feedback.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity testing strategies to validate resilience against threats.
  • Manage client relationships and advise on recommended actions for active projects.
  • Identify opportunities for new work and contribute to proposals and bids.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Degree in Computer Programming, Networking, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GICSP, GIAC, IEC 62443) or a master's in Cybersecurity.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT, OT, or ICS environments, including risk profiling, vulnerability testing, and security architecture.
  • Knowledge of NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 2700x frameworks and industrial communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, etc.).
  • Experience in sectors such as Transportation, Energy, Water/Wastewater, Manufacturing, or Mining.
  • Ability to manage small technical teams and oversee project-level workstreams.
  • Professional Engineer (PEng) or equivalent designation, or working toward certification.
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $114,600 - $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 - $137,400
