The HR Specialized is a key role within the Talent Management and Culture function and will support the TM&C Governance mandates with analysis, development, design and delivery of HR solutions, policies and procedures.
Job Description:
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide specialized HR related research, evaluation, operations and reporting to support and advise Talent Enablement Senior Manager, including analyzing and supporting the development and design of HR solutions
- Identify emerging trends / maturity levels for GSIB, integrating into our practice; contribute to knowledge-sharing and thought leadership, sharing best practices
- Oversee Talent Management metrics workstream, focusing on the day-to-day management of existing metrics, and coordination / development of future metrics and reporting
- Collaborate with key partners (e.g., HR1B, DAR), produce insights / fact-based analytics to support business strategy; act as conduit on the day-to-day support related to governance and to ensure opportunities are connected and develop integrated solutions
- Within the Talent Management space, support/draft applicable HR standards and metrics, in collaboration with partners and stakeholders for assigned businesses
- Partner with the Talent governance team on regulatory requirements related to talent; contribute to the development / coordination of enhanced standard operating procedures, protocols, guidelines, etc.
- Oversee the design & standards for governance insights, reporting and documentation, ensuring alignment with best practices; coordinate and manage review cycles with key stakeholders; escalate any risks or considerations
- Involvement in special assignments related to talent to respond to emerging needs of the business, and external environment
- Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
- Act as governance support to the Talent Management team providing required guidance to the team broadly, while also elevating broad team acumen
- Act as a liaison and consultative expert in support of governance requests / insights (responding to incoming requests, obtaining additional information, providing recommendations, following up on outcomes of actions)
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to process, tools, fine tuning forms, tracking, reporting, etc. for the functions supported
- Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
- Acquire and apply expertise in the discipline, provide guidance, assistance and direction to others, with intent to build broader governance acumen across the broader team
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
- Act as a center of excellence and trusted advisor and partner to all HR teams through application of business acumen and Talent Management expertise
Job Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in HR; Undergraduate degree
- Strong problem resolution and consensus building skills
- Strong focus on attention to detail to produce and communicate high quality, accurate and timely deliverables
- Ability to manage relationships with many diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong communicator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees
- Experience working with agile methodologies is an asset
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to execute with speed and demonstrate impact
- History of successful partner relationship management and adept at interacting with diverse groups of colleagues
