Job Description:

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

FinanceCapitalReporting(FCR)team is responsible for reportingtothe Canadian regulator of Financial Institutions (i.e., Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions -OSFI)and public disclosures inthe Bank'squarterly financial statements.Reporting to OSFI includestheTDBG'sBasel Capital Adequacy Reporting (BCAR) return andLeverageRequirements Return (LRR).Public disclosures include Pillar 3 disclosures.Both reporting to OSFI and publish disclosures provide key information aboutthe Bank's solid financial stability .,

Key activities of the team include :

  • Interpretation of regulatory requirements.

  • Overseeing collection of datarelated to credit risk, market risk, and operational risk frommultiple data systems across all business segments of theBank.

  • Overseeingimplementation ofrules to compute regulatory capital invarioustechnologyplatforms and End-User-Computing solutions.

  • Verifying accuracy and completenessof monthly production of BCAR and LRR returns.

  • Submitting quarterly BCAR and LRR to OSFI and attesting to OSFI on the accuracy and completenessof the returns.

  • Reporting key results to senior executives .

  • FCR team partners closely withmany teams includingTreasury, RiskManagement, Technology,Internal Audit, and External Audit.

Interns will gain exposure to end-to-end capital reporting processes, data transformation logic, regulatory requirements, and improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity. During the summer of 2026, the team will also be executing several transformation initiatives focused on automation, PowerBI dashboard development and overallprocess simplification as part of broader Finance and Treasury transformation program.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assistingwith monthly and quarterly BCAR production tasks (data checks, reconciliation, variance analysis)

  • Running and reviewing standard reports used in the preparation of capital ratios.

  • Supporting the preparation of working papers, templates, and documentation.

  • Assistinganalyst with data validation, control execution, and issue tracking.

  • Helping maintain documentation for BAU processes and controls.

  • Supporting ad-hoc analysis required for regulatory queries or internal reviews.

  • Automateof manual processes: Support documentationof business context andautomation opportunity.Participate inthedesign, implementation, and testing of theautomation solution,

  • Assist withPower BIDashboards: Assist inimplementingand testing Power BI dashboards for BCAR metrics, control monitoring, and KPI tracking.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Analytics,Data, Business/ Commerce or related field; with the intent of going back to school at theend of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)

  • Interest in Finance andRegulatory Reporting

  • Excel skills should be sufficient where the candidate is comfortable navigating basic

  • functions (Pivot tables, vlookup , sumif , IF, conditional formatting)

  • Understanding offinance and accounting

  • Understanding of application of AI tools

  • Comfortable working with large datasets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.

  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to quickly learn and adapt to newchallenges

  • Ability to understand and communicate business values.

  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
