Fantastic opportunity for a compensation analysis professional to work remotely from anywhere in BC for one of Canada’s best managed and best loved companies!
Who- the Company:
Our client is one of the largest private sector “living wage” employers in Canada and is known for being a very values-based organization that champions diversity, social responsibility, business ethics, and philanthropy. The company has been recognized as a best local employer, a best managed company, and a best corporate citizen. The company has close to 3000 employees and is headquartered in Vancouver.
What- the Role:
Swim Recruiting is seeking a new Compensation Analyst on behalf of our client. Reporting directly to the Manager of Compensation and working on a tight-knit compensation team of 5 people, the Analyst will be responsible for managing compensation policies and ensuring the company is following compensation procedures. The Comp Analyst will be helping to develop and optimize the company’s ongoing total rewards strategy. The Comp Analyst will conduct job evaluations, job leveling, and participate in annual performance & compensation review cycles. Compensation analysis is the main focus of this role, with some benefits analysis. SWIM will provide interested candidates with a detailed job description.
Who- the Candidate:
Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in compensation analysis/total rewards, and ideally 5+ years. The CCP designation is considered an asset but not at all required. Candidates will have experience in designing and implementing compensation programs, as well as experience evaluating and benchmarking corporate and operational positions. Strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial. We are looking for professionals who are proficient at conducting Excel-based compensation analysis- the stronger in Excel, the better! HRIS analysis skills are also important. Experience working in large, complex private sector company with operations in geographic locations across BC is a significant asset.
The company is headquartered in Vancouver; however, the Compensation Analyst can work remotely from ANYWHERE IN BC! Remote working is perfectly suitable for this role. Ideally the Analyst will be located within driving distance to Vancouver for occasional visits to the office (important team meetings, social events, etc.). These in-office visits will be scheduled in advance so if the Comp Analyst lives in the Interior, on Vancouver Island, in Northern BC, etc., they can work it into their lives and perhaps combine an office trip with a personal reason for wanting to be in the Lower Mainland.
The Compensation Analyst will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience, skills, and education- please discuss with SWIM.
