As the Advisor, Benefits & Pension, you will be responsible for the administration of the company's Canadian benefits programs and the support of the pension team in the administration of their programs as required. An experienced CEBS professional and a "numbers superstar", you will administer complex claims per Canfor's benefits plan and ensure integrity and maintenance of benefit related data in our HRIS systems.

Based in either our Vancouver Head Office or Prince George, this position will require you to counsel employees on benefit coverage, administration, and claims questions. You will also use your prior experience to data-mine and ensure the integrity and maintenance of benefit-related data in our HRIS system.

In a perfect world, you possess practical knowledge of benefits legislation and regulations. A CEBS certification or a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation along with prior experience in pension administration would "level up" your application. For bonus points, you have a post-secondary degree in administration, human resources, or a relevant discipline.
